Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Gain the necessary theoretical and conceptual tools used in this sector
• Understand the mechanics and financial analysis required to value, negotiate and successfully close transactions.
• Understand how corporate governance, ethics and legal considerations factor into investment banking deals.
• Understand what institutional investors are and how they operate.
• Differentiate between equity and fixed income management styles.
