Margaret Mutheu is the founder of 1Million Startups East Africa chapter, an organization that supports SDG entrepreneurs through its accelerator program and a woman only hub, women biz360. She is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 9 years in business and 9 years in the IT sector in service delivery across East Africa’s private and public sector. She holds a Bsc. in Computer Science and is a certified Export market readiness coach and TMA talent expert.

Margaret is a trainer and  a  business coach working with hundreds of businesses in  developing their enterprises to scale and access capital in the 1Million startups network and with other partner organizations like Trade Facilitation Office Canada, Boehringer and Ingelheim, I Choose Life Africa, Safaricom, 1000 Alternatives, Konza City among others.

As an export market readiness coach, she has worked for the International Trade Centre SheTrades Commonwealth project for women SMEs in Kenya in Agribusiness, Textile and apparel, Tourism and IT/BPO sectors for 3 and a half years. Margaret has extensive knowledge in business process reengineering using technology, building excellent teams and structures for the success of businesses. She is passionate about developing African enterprises to compete globally. She is a keynote speaker in local and international conferences and has won a global award for her special contribution to the future of work in Kenya.

She is a Trainer and Coach for women entrepreneurs looking to export their products and services under the International Trade Centre SheTrades Commonwealth program which is targeting 1000 women in IT/BPO, Tourism, Agribusiness and Textile & Apparel services.
